Heamac is a MedTech offshoot from CfHE, IIT Hyderabad. We are a team of enthusiastic entrepreneurs turned engineers working towards the ideology of making the world a better place for the neonates. Our founders always had an empathy towards childcare. We design and develop neonatal products starting with jaundice management. We are currently developing our first device nLite 360 – an intelligent phototherapy device for jaundice neonates. Our vision is to provide effective healthcare facilities to the neonates ensuring Zero separation between the mother and the child.

Our device is portable and standalone capable of replacing multiple bulky devices used currently. It is compatible with any of the incubators or warmers used in the NICUs.  With its multi-surface mode, it provides 360o treatment to the neonate treating even the severe jaundice cases. Our device provides 3 Times effective therapy and thereby reduces 35% of the total treatment time. Our device costs 30-50% less than our current market competitors  With its modular design, it provides uninterrupted treatment even during breastfeeding and Kangaroo Mother Care. Our device can be powered by a battery backup making it feasible for the resource-constrained settings as well.  Can be used in home care settings under the guidance of the doctor.Can be operated by any hospital staff or caretaker with very minimal training.As the parts are all designed for robust use and long life it requires less or no maintenance. Our device is biocompatible and recyclable making it useful even after the device’s lifetime.
